Job Description

Position Overview

The Associate, Renewable Procurement will be a senior individualcontributor responsible for supporting commercial procurement strategiesand executing commercial negotiations for Utility Scale Solar powergeneration equipment in support of Invenergy's development,engineering, and construction activities. Responsibilities includesupporting strategic supplier relationships, tracking supply chainrequirements, and negotiating and administering critical supplyagreements in support of Invenergy's project needs. This role reportsto the Solar Procurement Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support commercial negotiations for power generation equipmentsupply contracts for utility scale solar power generation equipment(e.g.,modules/trackers/inverters/etc...). Ensure that terms andconditions are in line with market expectations and align with allapplicable project agreements including construction agreements,project sale agreements, and operations and maintenance (O&M)agreements.
• Serve as an internal point of contact for matters related toproject-specific equipment supply agreements. Maintain and updateall contractual files in a centralized contract repository.
• Support the development of Invenergy's purchase agreement forms andtemplates. Drive regular updates and process improvement initiativesbased on changes in project needs and requirements as well as acontinual understanding of market terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with the engineering procurement, project engineering,construction, sourcing and operations teams to analyze procurementoptions and to assist in making equipment supply recommendationsthat best position Invenergy's pipeline of renewable energyprojects.

Required Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Finance, Supply ChainManagement, or related discipline
• 3 or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing,contracting or a related field
• Proven and influential verbal and written communication skills
• Commercial negotiation skills, with an understanding of the legalaspects of procurement
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, timemanagement, and problem-solving skills. Ability to negotiatemultiple high value, high risk equipment supply contractssimultaneously while fulfilling project stakeholder contractualrequirements and maintaining projects schedules.
• Demonstrated passion in renewable energy.

Preferred Experience
• General understanding of solar PV modules, solar inverters, ortrackers is a plus.
• Experience with contract administration or management for CAPEXprocurement is a plus.
• Experience as a paralegal or a paralegal certificate is a plus.

Base Pay

$90,000 - $105,000 USD Annual

Bonus: 20% - 27.5%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary forthe position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determiningbase pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the positionand the candidate's experience, educat on and skills.

In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may alsoinclude eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which aredesigned to reward individual and company performance. Your recruitercan share more about bonus eligibility for this position during thehiring process.
