Humana Inc. is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to translate business needs into technical strategies and architectural roadmaps. This role involves developing integration blueprints for the CCaaS Platform, promoting platform principles, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance customer experiences. While the position is based in Green Bay, WI, remote work is possible, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.

The Principal Enterprise Architect translates business needs into technical strategies, systems solutions and architectural roadmaps, while providing strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). This person will play a key role in defining, planning, and realizing Humana's strategy and vision for enabling Platforms and how they interoperate in order to bring to life our end to end customer journeys and associated experiences. He/she will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build a multiyear set of Platform integration Blueprints with Humana's Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) Platform serving as the 'connective tissue', as well as facilitate decisions related to optimizing Humana's use of Platforms and Platform Capabilities. This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organization to rethink routine, embrace platform and customer experience principles, and drive adoption of the CCaaS Platform.We are open as to the location for this position, although a location in the Eastern or Central Time Zones would be ideal.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesFacilitate a federated cross-segment Architecture Collaborative to define a consensus-based set of Blueprints that will depict how CCaaS will integrate with other Platforms in a way that will bring to life the holistic end to end targeted customer journeys and experiences.Accountable for developing the 'As Is' Blueprint, the target 'To Be' and 'Should Be' Blueprint, and the corresponding annual transitionary Blueprints that will depict the evolution of CCaaS and how it plays into the larger Platform ecosystem over a 4-5 year period.These Blueprints, would describe the various layers of the architecture ecosystem that cover for example 'data generation', 'data exchange', 'data aggregation' and 'data exploitation', and would depict technologies, including channels, capabilities, systems, interfaces etc that would be introduced and/or decommissioned over time.Behind each blueprint would be a supporting set of detail that would describe the in/outbound data interactions between source and consumer at a granular level, and a detailed description of the architecture patterns of data exchange vis a vis API, event driven, event bus (pub/sub) etc.Partner with the CCaaS Platform Strategy team, the CCaaS Platform IT Innovation and Delivery teams and the Customer Journey Architects to facilitate decisions around CCaaS Capabilities to ensure Humana is optimizing its use these Platform capabilities and to help identify and align on rationalization opportunities where siloed duplicative capabilities exist.Steward the process to evangelize, maintain and 'evergreen' the Bleuprints, the associated roadmaps, and lead the ongoing dialog with IT and business stakeholders on a regular cadence to ensure continued understanding, alignment, and synchronization across vested Platform Owners.Partner with the investment teams during annual prioritization to ensure appropriate funding is secured to fully realize and deliver against the aligned Blueprints.Key Candidate QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess several years (typically 5 or more) of experience architecting enterprise technology solutions, along with broad, advanced technical experience and skills, especially related to how enterprises should enable a Platform-centric connected ecosystem. He/she will exhibit strategic thinking abilities, an enterprise-wide perspective, and have experience providing guidance and defining strategy for how companies should leverage platforms. This person will also have deep knowledge of at least one CCaaS cloud technology/platform - Genesys Cloud would be ideal. Bachelor's degree is required, and preferably in a technology field.In addition to the above, the following technical qualifications and personal attributes are also sought:Working knowledge and experience of defining enterprise Blueprints and use of architecture tools such as iServer.Has driven or had been involved in customer experience improvement initiatives preferably in an omni-channel contextAbility to drive tasks to completionCurrent or recent experience in a large, highly matrixed company (i.e., Fortune 250), with proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders in such an environmentExcellent oral and written communications skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to skillfully convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.The polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiencesHighly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcomeExperience managing external vendor relationshipsExperience in Heath Care preferred, although airline, financial services industry experience, or other customer-centric industry experience will be considered.Master's or Doctorate's degree is a strong plus.Scheduled Weekly Hours40
