They have an expert team specializing in flood management, drainage systems, and infrastructure design to ensure the safety and resilience of communities.

Principal Technician needed with expertise in flood drainage and infrastructure design to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Development: Assist in the design and implementation of flood drainage solutions, surface water management, and infrastructure for residential developments.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior technicians and engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that designs comply with all relevant legislation, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Problem-Solving: Conduct site assessments, identify challenges, and provide innovative solutions to complex flood and drainage issues.
• Software Utilization: Use of Causeway flow, Infrodrainage, ODS
• Reports & Documentation: Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documentation for client approvals, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Drainage, or related field (degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in flood drainage design, preferably within residential or urban developments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Micro Drainage, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of drainage systems, flood risk assessments, and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS).
