Responsibilities
:

- This is a combined Position which includes Operating the Plastics machine through computer touch screens (PLC).
- Ensure the machine has a constant supply of resin in the hopper, ensure any jams are cleared.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative tasks to ensure product is within required specifications and production is not interrupted.
- Performing all the required Quality inspection for each product being produced.
- Follow all GMP's, HACCP and 5S procedures to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document downtime, reason for downtime.
- Document and flag quality issues on regular basis.
- Removing and disposing of purge properly and safely as generated by machines.
- Directing finished goods materials to silo storage or storage into bags for shipping out.
- Production output checks.
- Production reporting throughout the shift.
- Forklift operations
- Cleaning of extruder as required.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:

- Have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented with experience in quality assurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Perform required tasks in a timely fashion.
- Have the ability to consistently follow processes and perform tasks as instructed.
- Follow workplace health and safety standards and maintain a clean work station.
