Permitting Specialist

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Permitting Specialist to join the team! You will be working directly with engineering and permitting departments. You will be responsible for working with building departments and permit portals, updating customer records, communication between departments, compiling and managing customers engineering designs and working with teams to hit KPI metrics.

Key Responsibilities
• Carefully manage accounts in your buckets. Mark tasks in the process completed and communicate with team members and sales reps.
• Communicate with Building Departments and update permit portals.
• Work closely with management to find ways to improve processes and make more efficient
• Work together with teams to hit KPI targets
• Communicate with local permit runners to deliver permit packets

Qualifications
• Understand how to navigate Google drive, Drop box, Amazon s3 for documents
• Able to work remote and has proper knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Detail oriented. Able to make notes on an account to update team members in other areas
• Coachable
• Understands the solar process to be able to communicate with customers and give updates.
