About the position
The Electrical Maintenance Tech Sr. 2 position at Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC involves performing a variety of electrical maintenance tasks as defined in the position responsibilities. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and procedures, including the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) principles. The technician will be responsible for maintaining their qualifications and certifications, ensuring that all required training is completed and current. The technician will also be involved in making recommendations for process improvements and supporting cost-saving initiatives. The work schedule is structured as a Monday to Thursday, 4x10 shift, allowing for extended weekends while maintaining a full-time workload.
Responsibilities
• Perform Electrical Maintenance activities in accordance with applicable procedures, training, and supervisory directions.

• Respond to abnormal and emergency conditions following approved procedures and training.

• Comply with employee duties and responsibilities as established in the Working Agreement.

• Assist in the preparation and review of procedures and related documents as applicable.

• Participate in the identification and resolution of health and safety issues through active involvement in IST and OWL programs.

• Make recommendations for innovative ideas or approaches to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure completion of assigned training, qualifications/certifications, and required reading.
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 4 years of industrial electrical experience.

• Electrician Journeyman's License.
