Mulesoft Cloud Architect

Humana Inc. is seeking a Mulesoft Cloud Architect to lead the design and engineering of cloud computing infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing integration solutions, creating architecture frameworks, and collaborating with various teams. Required qualifications include 5 years of MuleSoft application development experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The position is based in Green Bay, WI and is not remote.
DescriptionThe Cloud Architect 2 leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. The Cloud Architect 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.ResponsibilitiesThe Cloud Architect 2 performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments. Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.Required QualificationsMuleSoft application development experience (5 years)Experience in application development, data modeling and/or data analysis; * Experience developing scalable, simple to complex API web services using the MuleSoft platformExperience developing complex SQL queries and stored proceduresExperience creating and maintaining domain diagrams, architecture frameworks, design patterns and standards to support technology strategyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingArchitect, design, develop and implement small to large scale integration solutions in MuleSoft platformAdminister architecture components within MuleSoft platformCreate architectural deliverables that clearly communicate design and solution expectationsUnderstand and clarify complex business integration requirements and produce eloquent and scalable designs utilizing the MuleSoft Any point platformCreate and maintain Domain diagrams, architecture frameworks, design patterns and standards to support technology strategyPlan and deliver integration architecture that is aligned with IT strategies and principlesWork closely with other enterprise architects, security, networking, developers, and infrastructure teams to develop integration architecture suitable for implementing common services, business rules, data transformation, and data movement across systemsConduct design reviews, gap analysis and assessment when requiredThe architecture covers the data integration, databases, and the means to receive the data. Resolve all types of design, test, and data issuesExplain complex technical issues to project managers, developers and architects in an easy to-understand manner and recommend clearly thought-out solutionsWork with small development teams in multi-phase heterogeneous work environments and work streamsDeliver high-quality production-ready application services, integration programs, APIs and web servicesDevelop high-quality queues and flows for Message Queue ServicesActively test and clearly document implementations so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditionsGuide and work with support teams in troubleshooting production issues and provides technical support of the integration platformPreferred QualificationsPortfolio management experience;Experience working with joint venture partners;Experience in a multi-disciplined IT environment;Experience with compliance;Experience in framework;Skills working with negotiation, sales and networking;Expertise with enterprise software integration technologies and strategies;Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;Strong affinity for being on the cutting edge of technology - always seek out new directions and emerging trends;An affinity for a strong company culture with smart teammates that care about making a huge impact.Additional InformationHumana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
