## What You'll Do

You'll lead and contribute to complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects across renewable energy, manufacturing, technology, and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities include leading the design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage systems, and infrastructure from concept through construction. You'll develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents, perform engineering analysis and evaluate field data to prepare detailed technical reports, and support environmental and compliance-related engineering work across diverse projects. Mentoring junior staff is essential to this role, as you'll promote technical excellence and professional growth while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope rounds out your core responsibilities.

## What You'll Bring

### Required Background

You'll hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of progressive civil engineering experience. You must have strong experience in site design, grading, drainage, and permitting, along with proficiency in Auto. CAD/Civil 3D and related modeling tools like Hydraflow.

You'll demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute both independently and within teams. Strong analytical skills are essential, particularly in preparing engineering calculations and technical reports. Excellent communication skills allow you to convey complex technical concepts clearly to various audiences, and you'll have solid knowledge of local codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

A valid driver's license is required for this position. This role involves frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area, and you'll need the ability to operate a company vehicle. Note that this position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

### Preferred Qualifications

A PE or FE certification would strengthen your candidacy. Advanced education, such as a Master's degree, is valued. Experience leading or mentoring junior engineering staff demonstrates your leadership capability. A background in land development design including utilities, stormwater, and erosion control shows practical expertise. Exposure to renewable energy projects (solar, wind), data centers, oil & gas, or industrial facilities is particularly relevant. Familiarity with GIS, surveying principles, geotechnical work, or remediation projects rounds out preferred experience.
