### What Your Impact Will Be

You'll oversee demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning (DDD) projects at major oil & gas, industrial, and power plant sites, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of field operations. You'll serve as the critical link between field teams, subcontractors, and project managers, guaranteeing quality and compliance. Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll influence client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives that expand ERM's impact.

Your day-to-day work involves planning and executing field remediation and DDD projects, including design reviews, cost opinions, and pre-construction conferences. You'll supervise field staff, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols. Reviewing contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders for compliance with project specifications is part of your routine. You'll conduct health and safety audits, deliver daily safety briefings, and maintain site safety records. Coordinating resolution of inspection and contract administration issues, serving as a liaison between field activities and in-house project managers, and supporting client meetings round out your responsibilities.

### What You'll Bring

Education & Experience Requirements

You'll need a BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience (where 2 years of experience equals 1 year of education). More importantly, you must have 4+ years of experience in environmental engineering and construction management consulting. Proven experience managing demolition and environmental construction sites—including work plans, field oversight, and reporting—is essential.

Certifications & Training

You must hold OSHA 30-hour construction safety and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, or have the ability to obtain these post-hire.

Core Competencies

Strong cost estimation and project tracking skills are critical; familiarity with cost estimating tools is expected. You'll need exceptional communication, organizational, and client service skills. Your ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate field personnel effectively will directly impact project success.

Other Requirements

This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle due to frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. You'll need to be willing to travel up to 75% during project oversight. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

### Preferred Qualifications

While not required, 8–15 years of experience in environmental engineering and construction management consulting would be valuable. Advanced knowledge of remedial systems, land disposal facilities, and environmental construction best practices sets strong candidates apart. Experience serving as a Field Safety Officer and implementing site-specific Health & Safety Plans is a plus. Background in proposal development and client-facing business development activities would enhance your candidacy.

### Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated annual base pay for this role is $103,967–$132,573 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible). Bonuses, commissions, and other forms of additional compensation are not guaranteed and subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures.
