Check out the Pregis Purpose to learn how sustainability and social responsibility is at the very core of our company DNA.Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (7PM–7AM, 2-2-3 Schedule) Department: Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Lead Schedule: 7PM–7AM | 2‑2‑3 rotation | Full-time About The Role We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by keeping machinery, equipment, and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting production teams while following all OSHA and facility safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & RepairPerform routine and emergency maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues.Work with PLC systems and AC/​DC drive troubleshooting as needed.Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and work orders.Complete preventative maintenance using CMMS and follow SPC data when required.Production SupportEnsure proper function of line support systems (lubrication, resin delivery, utilities, etc.).Respond to breakdowns and support the team to minimize downtime.Communicate equipment issues to supervisors, leads, and production teams.Documentation & InventoryAccurately complete work orders and maintenance records in the CMMS.Track parts usage and report low inventory levels.Follow SOPs and maintain clear, organized documentation.Safety & Work EnvironmentMaintain a clean and safe workspace, including the maintenance shop.Follow all OSHA, facility safety rules, GMPs, and sanitation standards.Identify Critical Control Points (CCP) and support continuous improvement.Other DutiesSupport special projects and additional tasks as assigned.What We’re Looking For (Skills & Competencies)Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.Ability to take coaching, communicate clearly, and work well with others.Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Knowledge of manufacturing/warehouse safety standards.Ability to follow standardized work instructions and SOPs.Strong attention to detail and personal accountability for safety.Work EnvironmentExposure to moving machineryIndoor manufacturing environmentHeat may exceed 90°F; humidity may exceed 80%Noise levels may exceed 85 dBPPE requiredPhysical Requirements Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stoopingAbility to lift up to 50 lbsOccasional typing and computer workEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPreferred: Associate’s degree or technical school training in mechanical, electrical, or related fieldsPrevious experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Electromechanical Tech is a plusDiversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
