Job Description

Green Mountain Transportation is seeking CDL-A owner-operators for long haul truck driving in Somerville, TN. The position offers potential gross earnings of $3,500 - $4,000 weekly, with a guaranteed $2,000 for the first six weeks. Drivers will have daily home time, direct deposit, and discounted fuel cards. Job Details:

Minimum Hiring Requirements
• The age limit is set at 23 years.
• The position necessitates a documented three-year history of driving commercial vehicles.
• The MVR review indicated the absence of any major violations within the last five years.
• Speeding 15mph over limit in commercial vehicle. If the 15mph over is in a personal vehicle there must be no other Speeding violations listed.
• Reckless Driving
• Running away from the scene of a crash or evading authorities
• Speed exhibition, contest
• Within the previous two years, the driver must not have accumulated more than two moving violations or exceeded three non-moving out-of-service violations in the last three years. The verification process for these violations will entail a combined analysis of both Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) and the Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP). Furthermore, any warnings recorded by PSP will carry equivalent weight as a violation.
• A lack of driver's license suspension within the recent three-year period stemming from convictions related to driving a vehicle.
• Clear Record of DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Compliance.
• Commercial vehicle drivers are not allowed to have drugs or alcohol in their possession.
• Not having committed a DUI offense while driving a car within the last five years is compulsory.
• The individual's eligibility for consideration is based on whether the most recent DUI incident occurred over five years ago.
• Review of misdemeanor convictions from up to seven years ago will undergo a case-by-case evaluation.
• Any felony conviction within the past seven years will be individually assessed before making a decision.
• Within the previous 3 years, the maximum number of preventable accidents is three.
• No Record of involvement in 2 At-Fault collisions and more than 2 motor vehicle moving convictions in past 3 years (personal or commercial).
• No documentation of being involved in one at-fault collision and three or more motor vehicle moving offenses (whether personal or commercial).
• Successful completion of the DOT urine drug screen is mandatory. An employment offer or operator contract will be granted only after receiving a negative confirmation from either the laboratory or the MRO.
