Light Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

ICS is seeking a Light Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician in Pembroke Pines, FL. Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Light Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities



Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and related mechanical components.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Conduct field service work at various commercial properties, ensuring timely completion of service calls with precision and professionalism.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical circuits and mechanical components effectively.
Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate findings clearly to clients and team members.
Operate a Commercial vehicle safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies during service calls.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings; understanding of HVAC design principles.
Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
Welding skills for metal repairs; experience with boiler maintenance is advantageous.
