Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Engineer – Electrical Installation & Process to drive the technical execution, quality, and standardization of wind turbine electrical systems across our projects in India.
In this role, you will bridge global technical standards with local site execution—adapting installation processes for regional environmental and grid challenges, establishing local quality standards, and building a high-performing Indian electrical process team. You will serve as the core technical authority for on-site commissioning, electrical system safety, and cross-border engineering alignment.

Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Technical Support & Quality Control

Lead and oversee on-site electrical system installation processes for wind turbines across India, ensuring uncompromising safety and quality standards.
Provide high-level technical support during electrical commissioning, diagnosing and resolving complex site technical issues in real time.

2. Process Optimization & Environmental Adaptation

Design, adapt, and deploy customized electrical installation solutions tailored to local Indian conditions (e.g., extreme heat, local grid fluctuations, diverse terrains).
Develop comprehensive standards, execution guidelines, and quality acceptance criteria for electrical installation and commissioning.

3. Local Capability Building & Team Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a local Indian electrical process team.
Design and execute technical training programs to continuously upgrade local engineering capabilities and promote standardized execution.

4. Global Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as the primary technical bridge to the domestic (HQ) electrical process team, aligning methodologies, tools, and quality benchmarks for localized execution.
Maintain seamless cross-cultural communication to ensure operational alignment between international engineering standards and local site constraints.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, process engineering, or commissioning—preferably within wind power generation or large-scale electromechanical equipment sectors.

Technical & Functional Competencies

Deep technical understanding of wind turbine electrical system installation, wiring, and commissioning processes.
Proven ability to design customized electrical process solutions and perform real-time root-cause analysis for on-site failures.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols, quality control standards, and acceptance procedures.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Demonstrated experience in team leadership, training, or managing localization projects within a cross-cultural environment.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global HQ and local stakeholders.
Resilience: Exceptional problem-solving skills and stress resistance, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, field-oriented dynamic.
