Candidates should have at least 2 years of lab management experience, skills in PCB soldering, and the ability to maintain lab efficiency and safety. We are currently seeking a Lead Engineering Lab Technician. This position requires an experienced professional with a background in low voltage and electrical engineering lab support. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to posses the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Duties, Skills, and Responsibilities
• 2+ years of experience in lab management.
• 2+ years of experience on PCB soldering, jumper wiring and doing rework instructions
• Ensure the efficient operation of the lab, including inventory management, procurement, shipment, ordering, equipment maintenance
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Maintain and update laboratory records, protocols, and documentation

What you bring:
• Ability to use a range of power and hand tools in the assembly of electronic units, harnesses, test fixtures and racks
• Basic understanding of analog/digital circuits
• Ability to work with schematics, and PCB layouts, and troubleshoot down to component level
• Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies and DMMs
• Basic knowledge in High Speed measurements/Setups
• Boundary scan testing
• JTAG programing
• Certifications is a plus
• Knowledge in infotainment devices for automotive industry
• Expertise using cadence allegro viewer and Microsoft windows programs
• JIRA experience is a plus

Educational Requirement

· Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)
$42—$53 USD
