Job Description

The University of Toronto is seeking an In-Person Course Instructor for Climate Change Policy. The role involves co-teaching graduate-level courses, developing syllabi, leading discussions, and providing academic support in a live classroom setting. Shape future leaders as a Co-Sessional Lecturer on Climate Change Policy. Teach critical topics on global climate frameworks, impacting legal and economic strategies in a live classroom setting.

This role involves co-teaching graduate-level courses focusing on climate change regulations and policies. You will develop syllabi, lead engaging discussions, and offer office hours for student support. Extensive teaching experience and knowledge of environmental policies are essential for effective course delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Co-teach graduate courses on climate change policy
• Develop and implement course syllabi and materials
• Conduct two-hour in-person classes weekly
• Provide academic support during office hours
• Oversee TA supervision and grading processes

Requirements:
• Completed PhD preferred in relevant fields
• Graduate degree in environmental sciences recommended
• Strong experience in regulatory sectors required
• Teaching experience at the graduate level essential
