• Exceeding the speed limit by 15mph while driving a commercial vehicle is a violation. When driving a personal vehicle, exceeding the speed limit by 15mph may be permissible if there are no other speeding offenses on record. Operating a commercial vehicle at a speed that is 15mph higher than the limit constitutes a traffic violation. In the context of a personal vehicle, it is generally acceptable to exceed the speed limit by 15mph as long as there are no other instances of speeding. Driving a commercial vehicle 15mph above the speed limit is against traffic laws. However, in a personal vehicle, exceeding the speed limit by 15mph can be tolerated if there are no prior speeding violations. When driving a commercial vehicle, going 15mph over the speed limit is prohibited and considered a traffic offense. Conversely, in a personal vehicle, surpassing the speed limit by 15mph may be acceptable provided there are no other speeding infractions reported.
