Heating Engineer / Plumber

Green Warmth is seeking a Heating Engineer/Plumber in Haverfordwest, UK, to support heat pump installations, plumbing, and maintenance. The role requires experience in plumbing, troubleshooting skills, and teamwork. The company offers training, a competitive salary of £34,500 to £37,000, a company vehicle, and benefits. This is a full-time, in-person position focused on renewable energy solutions across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion.

Green Warmth are looking to support their experienced engineering field teams with a 'Heating Engineer / Plumber’ who will be focussed on our heat pump installations, general plumbing, underfloor heating while supporting servicing, maintenance and call out contract.

Green Warmth install renewable projects across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and the Ceredigion area.

The Person

Role Requirements
• The completion of renewable installation projects which will include installing heat pumps (Air and Ground Source) under floor heating and general plumbing.
• Supporting of our servicing and maintenance customers.
• Completing compliance paperwork to the highest standard ensuring paperwork is submitted on time. These would include, job sheets, maintenance sheets, day work sheets, and risk assessments.
• Interaction with clients and suppliers maintaining professional relationships.
• Working together within an experienced renewable engineering team to support the delivery of quality installations.
• Adhere to safe working practices and ensure those working with you do the same.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• Experience within the plumbing industry, including a desirable theoretical knowledge of both air and ground source heat pumps.
• Ability to troubleshoot, particularly on site and over the telephone.
• Excellent team working skills with ability to communicate with others at all levels. Assisting other team members to improve their knowledge base.
• Ability to contribute constructively to the team as a whole participating with any team activities as required.
• Solid practical knowledge around electrical systems.
• Qualified as a plumber heating engineer needs to hold relevant NVQ level qualifications.

Desirable Criteria
• Proven experience of working as either a heating engineer preferably with an interest in renewables.
• Experience in the operation of renewable systems and installations.
