Green & Fortune is seeking a Head of Event Operations in London to lead their events strategy and oversee all operations. This senior role involves managing event delivery, enhancing customer experience, and collaborating with sales and other teams. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in event operations, strong organizational skills, and a client-focused approach.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven Head of Event Operations to lead and shape our events strategy. This senior leadership role involves overseeing all event operations, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across Kings Place Events.
As the Head of Event Operations, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all events, from corporate meetings to large-scale functions. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate across departments, and ensure every event delivers exceptional service while meeting financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of all events, ensuring they meet client expectations and business objectives.
• Act as the link between operations and sales, ensuring seamless execution of client events.
• Attend key client meetings with the sales team to provide operational expertise and enhance client confidence.
• Work closely with the sales team to design event packages that align with operational capabilities and client expectations.
• Offer strategic recommendations to improve client experience and event efficiency.
• Drive operational strategy to improve efficiency, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team scheduling, labour cost control, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Kitchen, and Front of House teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
• Manage procurement for event equipment and external staffing needs.
• Analyse financial reports, and implement cost-effective measures.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities to the events team.
• Support other business areas, including the restaurant, during quieter event periods.
About You
• Extensive experience in senior event operations or a similar leadership role.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive operational improvements.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering complex events.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.
• Financial acumen
• Collaborative and adaptable, with outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
