The Body Shop is seeking a Head of Corporate Sustainability to lead their global sustainability agenda from their Milford, DE location. Built on activism, community and courage, our brand has never stood still - and as we look ahead, sustainability sits at the heart of our reinvention.We’re looking for a Head of Sustainability to lead our sustainability and positive impact agenda globally - shaping how we operate, how we partner, and how we show up as a values‑led business in the world.This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines credibility with conviction, and strategy with action.Your role in a nutshellAs Head of Sustainability, you will define and drive The Body Shop’s sustainability strategy across environmental, social and ethical priorities - ensuring impact is embedded across our value chain, our brand and our culture.More about the roleYou’ll:Set the sustainability vision, commitments and priorities for the business, aligned to our purpose, brand positioning and commercial strategyLead the evolution of our sustainability framework across ethical sourcing, Community Fair Trade, circularity, climate impact and community engagementRe‑establish The Body Shop as a credible, confident voice in ethical beauty - grounded in measurable action, transparency and accountabilityOwn the strategic direction and define the best approach to re‑launch The Body Shop Foundation, ensuring it is focused, impactful, well‑governed and aligned with our wider vision and missionRepresent The Body Shop externally across sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and ethical business conversations – including partnerships, advocacy, media and beauty industry forumsWork closely with senior leaders across Brand, Innovation, Supply Chain, Digital, Retail and HR to embed sustainability into how we create products, operate responsibly and tell our storyThis role is central to how we continue to be a force for good - today and for the long term.What we look forWe’re seeking a senior sustainability leader with the confidence to lead at scale and the credibility to influence across complex organisations.You’ll bring:Significant experience in sustainability, ESG or impact leadership roles - ideally within consumer brands, Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or purpose‑led businessesDeep understanding of ethical sourcing, circularity, climate impact and responsible business practicesExperience working with or leading charitable foundations, Non‑Governmental Organisations (NGOs) or long‑term social partnershipsA strong external profile, with confidence engaging stakeholders, partners and industry forumsStrategic thinking, paired with the ability to drive delivery and clear and meaningful actionsA natural storyteller and influencer, confident engaging senior stakeholders and external partners.A belief that sustainability should drive real change - not sit on the sidelinesIf you’re motivated by impact, authenticity and building something that truly matters, this role offers both influence and purpose.Why join usThis is a rare opportunity to shape the sustainability agenda of an iconic global brand at a pivotal moment in its history - with the mandate to rebuild, refocus and lead with integrity.BenefitsAt The Body Shop, we believe meaningful work should be supported by meaningful rewards.
