Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team. This role involves installing generators and performing preventative maintenance on solar systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality, which are our top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Generator Installation:

- Install, test, and commission various types of generators.

- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety standards.

- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal generator placement and setup.

Preventative Maintenance:

- Perform regular preventative maintenance on generators and solar systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

- Replace or repair components as necessary.

Solar System Maintenance:

- Conduct inspections and maintenance on solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to solar energy systems.

- Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and comply with industry standards.

Other Duties:

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and installation activities.

- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with a focus on generators or solar systems.

- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and equipment.

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- No felonies; willing to undergo a background check.

- Drug-free; willing to submit to random drug testing.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor sites, at varying heights on roofs, and in confined spaces.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
