Fruit Specialist / Farm Manager – Regenerative Farm Development – Essex - £50,000 + Bonus

The Job:
An exceptional opportunity to lead the planning, development, and management of a large-scale regenerative fruit and vine farm in Essex.
You will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive farm plan comprising approximately:
- 50 hectares of cherries
- 50 hectares of plums
- 10 hectares of cider apples
- 40 hectares of vineyards

This role requires strategic oversight of orchard and vineyard establishment, implementing regenerative farming principles focused on soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable production. You will manage the build phase through to full operational status, leading a team and coordinating all farm activities.

The Candidate:
- Proven experience in stone fruit orchard management and vineyard establishment
- Strong expertise in regenerative agriculture and farm design
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and deliver large-scale horticultural projects
- Practical knowledge of cherries, plums, cider apples, and vine production techniques
- Hands-on leadership experience managing farm teams and contractors
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation in farming
- Full UK driving licence
