Bloom Energy is seeking a Foreign Trade Zone Coordinator for an on-site role in Newark, Delaware. The position involves ensuring compliance with Customs regulations, managing customs declarations, organizing documentation, and supporting audits. Candidates should have a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred) and 2-3 years of logistics experience, particularly in trade compliance. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office is required.

We are looking for a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Coordinator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Trade and based in Newark, Delaware . This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Follow the guidelines for compliance to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations Title 19, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 146, CBP's FTZ operating manual, and the Foreign Trade Zones Board Regulations.
File in-bound admissions for goods arriving to the zones.
Analyze, review, and manage appropriate customs declarations related to in bond transfers, permits to transfer, admissions, and entries.
Create files to organize document retention and retrieval upon request.
Communicate with involved parties (e.g. supplier/buyer/material handlers/leads, etc.) to ensure document and reporting accuracy.
Assist in the creation of corporate FTZ policies and procedures.
Manage documentation storage and retention for FTZ Related filings.
Analyze, reconcile, and maintain all inventory control and record keeping systems, logs, and files as it relates to the FTZ.
Support Customs audits for CA and DE facilities.
Follow company standards for employees to have an awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety by following all policies and procedures.
Utilize company and third-party software (QAD-FTZ Software, Oracle-Electronic Inventory and movement management), to track discrepancies and facilitate CF214 and CF7512 filings.
Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-3 years logistics experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment; trade compliance experience preferred.
Experience using an electronic inventory management system, Oracle strongly preferred.
Experience working with freight forwarders and transportation providers.
Experience working with international suppliers.
Knowledge of standard import procedures.
Possess well-developed computer skills, Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with ability to learn new software.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong team player with the ability to interact with employees, managers, customers, and vendors at all levels.
Excellent customer service.
Strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
