Job Description

KOHLS is seeking a Facilities Analyst, Energy, based in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role involves analyzing store operations to improve efficiency and customer experience. Responsibilities include managing utility payments, maintaining licenses, and conducting data analysis. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and strong analytical skills. While primarily onsite from Monday to Thursday, there is an option to work remotely on Fridays.
About the Role

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

As Facilities Analyst, Energy, you will analyze key functions within the store environment and make recommendations for improving business operations to ultimately result in operational efficiencies and improved customer experience.

What You’ll Do
• Oversee on-time payments of utility and utility-related invoices
• Oversee setting up and maintaining business licenses for our store locations.
• Conduct account administration including opening and closing utility accounts, generating utility or utility services invoices, manage financial instruments, and other payment requirements
• Manage large databases and datasets including utility account data, utility usage and payment data, location attributes, license information, and key contacts
• Monitor and track utility usage and payments, conduct invoice audits, identify bill anomalies and provide suggestions for program improvements
• Work with field and store operations team to issue notifications and provide support for site-impacting events including power outages, utility repairs, site inspections, and license applications
• Will require some after hours support as needed for tracking utility outages and restoration timelines.
• Utility administration and bill pay utilizing
• Utility database management - Engie platform, contact sheets, asset listing, etc.
• Utility administration - Open and close accounts, Generate invoices, Deposits and LOCs, direct pay, CAM pay, track non-Engie bills, monthly Engie invoice
• Utility notifications - planned outage notices, unplanned outages, meter change notices
• Licenses and Fees
• Compile financial or operational information
• Prepare and summarize data, comparing actual or expected results to the prior period or plan
• Identify trends and outliers to inform partners
• Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of information prior to communication
• Conduct analysis and provide recommendations
• Conclude and make recommendations to improve Kohl’s operational efficiencies and customer experience
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships with corporate and field partners to identify areas of opportunity
• Communicate to and serve as liaison for internal business partners
• Maintain a working knowledge of information resources and partners
• Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Operations, Reporting, Statistics, IT or other relevant degree
• Excellent analytical, planning and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel/PC spreadsheet functionality and Google suites

Preferred
• 1-3 years experience in operational or financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting or reporting
• Advanced decision-making, leadership or communication skills
• Advanced degree (CPA, MBA, etc.)
• Retail experience
