Event Planning Manager (Weddings)

Rolling Green Fairways Ltd. is seeking a passionate Wedding Planner to manage wedding events in Canada. Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and event planning, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering exceptional service to clients. As a Wedding & Events Planner/Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of wedding events, ensuring that each celebration is memorable and tailored to the couple's vision.

Duties
• Collaborate in person and/or online, with prospective clients, to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and budget
• Have a strong understanding of our portfolio of services, in order to assist prospective clients on how we can be a part of making their vision come to life, provide tours and follow up promptly with quotes and additional information to allow them to make an informed decision
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel, to generate quotes and invoices, and communicate with the RGF team with regard to all event details
• Collaborate, in person, and/or online, with wedding clients, on the final details of their wedding day, to ensure all changes are addressed, and finalize plans ahead of their wedding day, and to then clearly communicate that to all members of the RGF Team
• Coordinate guest services to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
• Manage budgets effectively, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with clients and vendors to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Market wedding planning services through various channels to attract potential clients.
• Oversee the setup and execution of wedding events, the day before and on the day of the ceremony/reception
• Provide on-site coordination during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Generate ideas for new RGF event possibilities, while leading setup and coordination of existing RGF events

Qualifications
• Proven experience in event planning or hospitality management, preferably in a wedding planning context.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in upselling services or products related to weddings or events is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed for events.
• A background in hotel or restaurant services can be advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
