Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Sustainability Manager to lead our efforts in reducing waste, water, and energy consumption while protecting the environment. This role will provide strategic direction for environmental management at our large multi-line manufacturing facility.

• You will work closely with plant leadership to drive environmental compliance and lead sustainability initiatives, including developing technical solutions and providing leadership and direction for environmental aspects of plant operations.
• As a key member of our EHS team, you will oversee and supervise junior-level environmental professionals and technicians or operators, as well as participate in development of corporate environmental management system programs.
Responsibilities
• Provide Coaching and Guidance: Coach, guide, and train EHS staff to build capabilities and ensure effective execution of EHS initiatives.
• Ensure Environmental Training: Ensure all facility staff receive appropriate environmental training.
• Serve as EHS Pillar Leader: Align plant continuous improvement goals with corporate objectives, mentor pillar team members, and integrate EHS activities into daily plant operations.
• Track and Manage Sustainability Data: Track and manage annual submittals of Sustainable Development information, prepare and implement corrective actions from environmental reviews, and participate in environmental audit processes at other facilities.

Physical Environment/Demands: This position requires some travel, most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment, and may involve exposure to manufacturing environments, loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells, and allergies.
