This role is on site at Corporate Headquarters at 4201 Pulaski highway in Baltimore. Job Responsibilities:
• Assist and collaborate with the Environment and Sustainability Department in the implementation and achievement of Environmental Awareness as part of Pompeians Environmental Strategy
• Generation of visual components for internal use in awareness
• Contact waste management vendors to request their presence for internal awareness project
• Assistance to the environmental supervisor in the coordination of activities with contractors about waste data collection, treatment, and management under the Zero Waste Facility program
• Collection of data in relation to Scope 3 emissions category tracking
• To assist the Environmental department in performing environmental inspections in the Pompeian facilities, elaboration of reports with non-conformities
• Assistance in updating environment KPIs. and propose improvements to communicate Environment and Sustainable Performance
• Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines and all projects comply with environmental regulations and environmental goals
• Performs duties per Pompeian's mission, goals and core values
• All other duties and tasks assigned to assist with the Environmental Department

Requirements:
• Working toward a bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, and other related fields
• Must be available to work June 2nd - Friday August 15th on site at 4201 Pulaski Highway at Pompeian Baltimore Headquarters manufacturing plant
• Familiarity with sustainable practices in the corporate and manufacturing setting
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Skills, Canvas, Prezi
• Excellent communication, administrative and organizational skills
• Strong ability to work as part of a team
• Self-starter and not afraid to take initiative
• Strong innovation skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have predictable and strong attendance
