About the position
The Natural Resources Conservation Specialist at MFA Incorporated is responsible for enhancing livestock producer awareness and education regarding conservation grazing and natural resource management. This role focuses on promoting and delivering conservation practices to ranchers and livestock producers, integrating wildlife, soil, and water conservation with agricultural goals. Responsibilities
• Increase livestock producer awareness and education about conservation grazing and natural resources.

• Promote soil, water, and wildlife conservation programs for Missouri's farmers and ranchers.

• Conduct producer meetings and educational events, and write articles for Today's Farmer magazine.

• Develop promotional and outreach materials highlighting conservation practices tailored to producers.

• Assist in program development and educational materials for grazing initiatives with input from partners.
,
• Encourage and develop working relationships between MFA staff, partner agencies, and NGO staff.

• Help MFA employees and producers understand the integration of pollinator habitat, cover crops, and annual forages into grazing operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Conservation, Natural Resources, or a related degree or equivalent experience.

• 2 years of work experience in grazing/forage management, agriculture, or conservation preferred.

• Preference for holding a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
