Job Description

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Environmental Specialist with Security Clearance in Honolulu, HI. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations for military construction projects, coordinating with environmental specialists, and supporting construction program managers. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in environmental processes, relevant knowledge of U.S. policies, and a Bachelor's degree in a Science field. A Secret clearance is required.
Position: Environmental Specialist with Security Clearance
Job Number: R0237198 Environmental Specialist The Opportunity :
Apply environmental expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory environmental programs supporting military construction projects. Coordinate with Service Component environmental spe cia lists to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into Joint Area Development Plans, real estate planning, and construction designs. Provide support to construction program managers to minimize risk to program cost, schedule, and performance by enhancing program environmental planning and compliance.

Prepare, research, and review environmental and technical documents and reports. You Have:
• 5+ years of experience with environmental processes and programs
• Experience with environmental planning, management, compliance, and law for various construction efforts
• Knowledge of overseas and U.S. environmental policy , regulations, and legal precedents and project execution and reporting procedures to comply with environmental laws and requirements
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a Science field Nice If You Have:
• Experience as environmental subject matter expert on analyzing policies under the National Environmental Protection Act ( NEPA ) , natural and cultural resources, or compliance programs
• Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command
• Ability to have daily interactions with various levels of rank and authority, including military and civilians
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent independent thinking and customer service skills Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
