Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech)

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) responsible for floor maintenance. Duties include cleaning with various equipment and chemicals. Applicants need at least 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience or a high school diploma equivalent. Previous healthcare or hospitality experience is preferred.
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech)

This is a Full-time, Day Shift position

Responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.

1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience
• Less than a year Environmental Associate Experience Required
• 1 year of housekeeping / ESD experience in lieu of High School Education
• Previous Healthcare/Hospitality Experience Preferred
