Environmental Services Manager

LACOBA HOMES INC is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Monett, MO. Overview
The Environmental Services Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our facility. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental services, including custodial operations, floor care, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or commercial cleaning environments and possess a strong understanding of OSHA standards and best practices in sanitation.

Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met throughout the facility.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Oversee floor care operations, including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing of hard surfaces.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around facility needs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in environmental services management or similar role within a hospital or commercial cleaning setting.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in custodial services.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
