Job Description

Hartford Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for skilled nursing at Jefferson House in Newington, CT. This part-time role involves general cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment under supervision. The position requires English proficiency and the ability to operate cleaning equipment. The schedule includes 3 days a week with rotating holidays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Opportunities for career development and a competitive benefits program are offered.

At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.






Under direct supervision of the Housekeeping/Environmental Services manager, performs work of ordinary difficulty and assumes responsibilities in the area of Housekeeping/Environmental Services. General cleaning and routine related activities in assigned areas according to the department standards, policies and procedures. Maintains a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and hospital personnel

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment as trainedAble to follow safety procedures as trained Flexible team player able to interact well others We take great care of careers.
