About the position
The Environmental Science, Conservation, and Ecology Assistant Professor position at George Mason University is a full-time, 9-month instructional faculty role within the College of Science. The Department of Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) is recognized for its diverse faculty who specialize in both natural and social sciences related to environmental issues. Faculty members are encouraged to collaborate with various programs across the university, including the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation and the Institute for a Sustainable Earth. This collaborative environment fosters innovative research and teaching opportunities, allowing faculty to engage with external partners both nationally and internationally.
