Job Description

Bridgewater Consultancy UK Ltd is hiring an Environmental Monitoring Technician for their Midlands office in Royal Leamington Spa. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in environmental monitoring, including trade effluent and water sampling, daily site visits, and report writing. Candidates should hold a relevant degree or NVQ and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Benefits include a competitive salary, health cover, and enhanced pension.

Due to an increase in work load, our client is currently recruiting an environmental monitoring technician with 2-4 years experience, to be based within their environmental division in their Midlands office.
Education:
Our client would prefer the candidate to have a B-Eng and BSc in Engineering Geology, Environmental and Geo-Environmental. We will consider NVQ or similar level for this role.
Job Description
It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change.
• Trade Effluent Sampling
• Water Sampling and Water Compliance Monitoring
• Daily Site Visits
• Report Writing and Customer Liaison
• Must be able to follow written procedures and instructions
• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing with the client when faults have been identified
• Produced detailed site observations to be used to prepare technical reports based on current guidelines, legislation and best practice.
• The candidate should be flexible in their working and have a positive attitude.
• Candidates must be able work in safe manner avoiding hazards to themselves, colleagues and clients
