Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Administrative Support in Bloomington, MN. About the Role:As an EHS Administrative Support, you will be an integral part of our EHS team, assisting in a variety of administrative and support functions. Your work will help ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
• EHS Program Support: Assist with clerical review of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding upcoming EHS activities.
• Compliance Documentation: Help maintain necessary compliance documentation required by company policy, state, and federal regulations.
• Reporting and Improvement Projects: Assist in the reporting and documentation of improvement projects, including file planning and record cleanup.
• Training Coordination: Support the development and implementation of training systems and coordinate training events across multiple shifts, including room scheduling, resource coordination, and record management.
• Administrative Support: Prepare, maintain, distribute, and file various program correspondence, reports, and procedures as required. Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
• Track Goals and Metrics: Assist with tracking departmental scorecard metrics and goals.
• Safety Inventories and Equipment Inspections: Prepare and maintain safety inventories, conduct audits (lockout/tagout, confined space, permit audits), and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Risk Assessments: Participate in the development and implementation of risk assessments and assist with system upgrades, documentation cleanups, and data transfers.
About You:We are looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and has the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Required Skills:
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Time Management: Ability to manage timelines and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify inefficiencies and improve systems/processes that impact performance.
• Collaboration: Desire to work as part of a team and engage with others constructively.
• Adaptability: Ability to problem-solve in dynamic and complex environments.
Your Experience Includes:
• Previous experience in administrative support roles (e.g., administrative assistant, document manager, clerical work).
• Preferred: Experience with administration of EHS programs.
Required Education:
• No degree required for administrative role; a high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient.
