Job Description

Tulane University is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Environmental Economics for the Department of Economics and Environmental Studies. The role involves research and teaching in environmental economics, with a focus on applied econometric analysis of public policy. The Department of Economics and Environmental Studies (ES) Program at Tulane University invite applications for one full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor. Applicants should have primary research and teaching interests in environmental economics. The tenure home and most teaching are in Economics with a partial appointment and some teaching and service responsibilities in the schoolwide ES program.

The Tulane Department of Economics is oriented toward applied econometric analysis of public policy, including especially the fields of health, education, development, labor, public finance, and political economy. The interdisciplinary ES major is one of Tulane’s fastest growing.

The position is a 9-month tenure-track, academic-year appointment to begin July 1, 2023. All applications must be submitted through Interfolio at apply.interfolio.com/112100.
