About the Opportunity:
As a result of our existing and confirmed future opportunities in the land development, resources and infrastructure sectors, we are searching for an environmental consultant to join our talented team in our West Perth office.
Your role will primarily involve undertaking environmental reviews and preparing environmental impact assessments for land development, infrastructure and mining projects across Western Australia. In addition, there will be opportunities to undertake fieldwork and reporting to support our ecological and bushfire planning teams.

About you:
You’re going to love this role if you:
• Can interpret, understand and apply legislation and policies into technical reporting.
• Have the ability to study and analyse pollution, atmospheric conditions, demographic characteristics, ecology, mineral, soil and water samples.
• Are passionate about environmental planning/impact assessment and achieving balanced outcomes for the environment and industry.
• Are able to develop solutions and management actions to address environmental impacts of a project.
• Are keen to participate in management planning by providing environmental information and making inventories of plants, animals and items of cultural and heritage significance.
• Love to learn and be challenged.
• Want to be a valued member of a team.
• Have experience with project management.
• Are a confident and effective communicator.
• Are details oriented.
What you’ll need to fulfil the role:
• A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law or Environmental Planning or related field of study.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in the environmental field.
• Previous experience as a consultant (desirable).
• Previous experience undertaking fieldwork (desirable).
• Experience in the preparation of quality technical reports.
• Current C Class driver’s licence and the ability to travel if required.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
