Our team of engineers, scientists, and field professionals work together every day to help our clients reduce their environmental footprint while maximizing their resources. We’re looking for detail-oriented, hardworking, and outdoor-loving individuals to join us as Environmental Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technicians.

What You’ll Do

As an Environmental CQA Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of landfill and industrial construction sites, ensuring projects meet regulatory and environmental compliance standards. Your work will be essential in maintaining high-quality construction practices, supporting clients, and keeping projects on track. In this role, you will:
• Perform routine site inspections and quality assurance checks
• Conduct in-place soil density testing and other quality control assessments
• Document and report project progress, findings, and milestones
• Work closely with contractors, project managers, and clients to maintain compliance
• Identify and help resolve issues that could impact project schedules, quality, or safety
• Oversee and assist field personnel as needed

Who You Are

You thrive in a hands-on, outdoor work environment and take pride in getting things done right. You have a strong sense of independence, but also enjoy working as part of a team. You’re reliable, detail-focused, and ready to take on challenges in the field.

What You Need to Succeed
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field
• High school diploma or higher (required)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications (with guidance)
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and quality control processes
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen if required
• Willingness to work flexible hours (40-60+ per week based on project needs)

The Work Environment
• This is a physically active, outdoor role—expect to be on construction sites, landfills, or industrial facilities.
• You’ll be walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Travel is a big part of the job—assignments may last 2 to 6 months at a time. (We provide a per diem living allowance and a company vehicle for out-of-town assignments.)
