Solar Pros is hiring an Entry Level Sales Representative in Charlotte, NC, focused on promoting solar products and services. The role offers flexible scheduling and a pay range of $80,000 to $180,864 annually.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a proven track record in sales, particularly in the solar industry. This role involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that promote our solar products and services. A strong emphasis will be placed on customer service and relationship building.
Duties
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to present our solar solutions and explain the benefits of renewable energy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors to effectively position our offerings in the market.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in outside sales or technical sales is preferred, particularly in the solar or energy sector.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, especially proficiency in Spanish.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
