This role involves leading engineering efforts for solar, wind, and battery storage projects, overseeing all phases of engineering, procurement, and construction. Engineering Director - Solar, Wind, and Battery Storage Solutions
We are excited to invite applications for the role of Engineering Director, where you will be instrumental in driving engineering efforts across a variety of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage systems. This position encompasses the comprehensive range of electrical design for utility-scale renewable energy initiatives.
As the Engineering Director, you will lead a team of skilled engineers and project professionals to ensure the successful execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, from inception to realization. Your leadership will be key in achieving technical excellence, maintaining cost efficiency, and meeting project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases of renewable energy projects while ensuring adherence to technical specifications and contractual obligations.
• Manage and coordinate a dynamic team of engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver innovative and effective renewable energy solutions.
• Conduct detailed technical designs, risk assessments, and project feasibility studies to support project success.
• Guarantee compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols across all projects.
• Collaborate closely with procurement teams to assess and select the best vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure efficient and effective execution.
• Provide expert technical guidance and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related discipline).
• Deep technical expertise in solar, wind, and/or battery storage technologies.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
