Job Title: Energy Efficiency Engineer
Overview:
This role focuses on enhancing the energy efficiency and performance of buildings through innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of analytical prowess, technical expertise, and a passion for sustainable building practices to tackle various energy and performance projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize control sequences for high-performance buildings.
Conduct field commissioning and monitoring-based commissioning.
Analyze building and utility data to identify energy-saving opportunities.
Perform energy assessments, audits, and EnergyStar certifications.
Support energy project development with measurement and verification activities.
Deploy and analyze fault detection software.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with ASHRAE energy calculations and building mechanical systems.
Proficient in computer programming and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred: Certifications such as CEM or PE, or the ability to obtain.
