Energy Storage Lead - 13010

GMR Group is seeking an Energy Storage Lead in New Delhi, responsible for developing cost models and designing solutions for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and pumped storage projects (PSP). Key tasks include costing, technology evaluation, regulatory support, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires 10-12 years of relevant experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering or an MBA in a related field. This is a full-time position based on-site.
Job Purpose

The role, Energy storage Lead, for GMR Renewables focuses on developing cost models and designing solutions for BESS and PSP projects, particularly for renewable energy tenders (FDRE, RTC) and C&I consumers. Responsibilities include bottom-up costing, technology evaluation and LCOE/LCOS analysis for various storage durations and applications. The role involves structuring storage solutions for C&I clients under different models (Open Access, BTM), supporting regulatory teams, and strategic sourcing of BESS components and PSP partners. The lead will also track market intelligence, regulatory developments, engage with stakeholders (government, OEMs, consultants), and provide cross-functional support for bid teams and strategy.
