Join our dynamic team as an Energy Project Manager, where you will lead and facilitate the planning and execution of a variety of capital projects valued under $10M. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving project objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk management, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. We seek candidates with solid project management skills and experience in the energy or utilities sector.

Our ideal candidate is ready to deliver structured governance and project controls from initiation through to project closeout.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and lead project teams, providing daily oversight of matrixed team members and collaborating with functional leaders.

Maintain effective stakeholder communications, facilitate project meetings, and produce organized status reports according to PMCoE standards.

Plan project parameters including scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, procurement, and commissioning strategies.

Drive the estimation process, schedule development, cost management, vendor selection, and equipment procurement.

Oversee project execution from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations.

Develop and manage detailed project plans encompassing objectives, roles, assumptions, WBS, risk assessment, quality standards, safety, environmental considerations, data management, communication strategies, change management, and closeout procedures.

Experience Requirements:

Solid project management background, including scheduling, planning, milestones, and reporting.

Proven experience managing multiple low to moderate complexity projects under $10M.

Expertise in coordinating across various teams and engaging with external partners.

Experience in utilities, energy, transmission, distribution, substation, or generation; telecom, major construction, or civil engineering experience is also acceptable.

A minimum of 2 years of related experience with an associate degree, or 5 years of related experience with a high school/GED.

Education Requirements:

Associate degree or a high school/GED with additional relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management is preferred.

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

A Configuration Management II Professional (CM2-P) certification is preferred.
