Energy Engineer

Blueprint Hires is seeking an Energy Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to support project management, operations, maintenance, and energy audits. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, researching energy usage, collaborating with engineers, and coordinating with vendors. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and a PE certification is preferred. A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking an Energy Engineer to help them support project aspects including project management, operations, maintenance and energy audits.

Your Day Includes

Conduct site walk-throughs of current technologies, including cost, maintenance, and other pertinent information.

Assess and research existing site energy usage to identify areas of improvement.

Work collaboratively with other engineers in developing new or reviewing existing plans.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for resources and project completion.

Support all project aspects including energy audits.

Must Haves

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, and PE certification is desired

5 or more years of experience in field
