Hydropower Systems is seeking qualified Electricians for on-site positions in Welkom and Orkney, South Africa. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance, and conducting inspections. Electricians Needed

Locations: Welkom & Orkney, South Africa Free state and Nort west
Company: Hydro Power Systems (HPS)

Key Responsibilities:
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical components
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, mine regulations, and company procedures
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Support commissioning and operational activities on-site
• Complete accurate technical reports and documentation

Minimum Requirements:
• Qualified Electrician (Red Seal / Trade Test essential)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an industrial or mining environment and must have underground experience
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on-site in Welkom or Orkney
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
