Job Description

Envision Charging is seeking an Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions Technician in Santa Rosa, CA. Responsibilities include providing technical support during installation and maintenance of EV equipment, conducting root cause analyses, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Candidates should have over 7 years of electrical experience, an Electrical Contractor's license, and knowledge of EV charging technologies. The position is full-time and offers remote assistance for troubleshooting and warranty services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional technical support for customers and internal teams during the installation, commissioning, and warranty phases of electric vehicle (EV) equipment.
• Offer remote assistance for maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty services as needed.
• Analyze product performance issues and customer inquiries; perform root cause analyses and collaborate across teams to implement effective solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, leading efforts in safety, best practices, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all tasks in compliance with safety guidelines established by Envision.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial electrical work, with a specific emphasis on electric vehicle charging infrastructure or renewable energy solutions for at least 2-3 years.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).
• Possess a valid and active Electrical Contractor's license, a driver's license, and own necessary tools and transportation.
• Experienced with both high and low voltage AC and DC systems and components used in EVSE technology.
• Familiar with industry standards and regulations such as ASCE, ISO/IEC, NEC/CFPA, UL, etc., as they relate to EV charging stations.
• Strong understanding of various EV charging technologies, including Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast chargers.
• A self-motivated individual with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, prioritize tasks effectively, and drive toward objectives with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable about local, state, and federal incentives, regulations, and policies regarding EV charging infrastructure.
• Able to manage multiple priorities independently and meet established deadlines.
