Job Description

The Ottawa Conservation District is hiring two Ecological Technicians for a grant-funded, limited-term position in Grand Haven, MI. The role involves managing invasive species across several counties, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Compensation is $16.50/hour, with sick-time benefits per Michigan law. Ecological Technician (2 Positions)


The Ottawa Conservation District is currently hiring two Ecological Technicians to carry out the work of the West Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (WMCISMA). This is a grant-funded position, limited-term position. Sick-time benefits are provided as by Michigan law. The anticipated time committment is 40 hours per week, but hours can vary due to workload and weather conditions.


Location


Based at the Ottawa Conservation District office located at 16731 Ferris St., Grand Haven, MI. Assignments will be performed throughout the WMCISMA counties of Allegan, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, and Ottawa.


Compensation


$16.50/hour
