About our client

Our client is a leading mid-market private equity investment firm which is looking for an ESG Manager to develop its sustainability programme at all levels. What the job involves
• Further development of the firm's sustainability and ESG strategy
• Contact person for portfolio companies on ESG-related issues
• Development of measures, KPIs and their implementation
• ESG reporting (e.g. with regard to CSRD and other EU taxonomy)
• Monitoring of legal framework conditions and derivation of recommendations for action
• Cross-industry ESG benchmarking in the portfolio
• Conception and implementation of training courses and workshops on the topic of sustainability
• Interface to internal departments, such as investor relations, corporate communications, human resources, etc.
Who we are looking for
• Experience in sustainability/ESG gained in either the consulting sector or an inhouse ESG position, ideally within the private equity sector
• Sufficient experience and stature to be credible, working independently with portfolio management teams; influence the investment team; build a strong external network
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and use data to highlight trends and communicate data in a clear and concise manner
• Highly organised, with experience of effectively managing multiple work streams spanning multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
