ERA Energy is seeking an experienced Energy Consultant in Chalmette, LA, to advise clients on energy-saving practices. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, identifying energy usage, recommending solutions, and collaborating with vendors and government agencies. The consultant must effectively communicate options and stay updated on industry trends. The role requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This full-time position offers a W-2 employment structure with commission and retirement benefits.
Knowledgeable and experienced energy consultant to advise companies and individuals on energy-saving practices and strategies. The energy consultant’s responsibilities include conducting environmental impact assessments, suggesting ways to reduce companies’ carbon footprints, identifying which company operations use the most energy, and recommending solutions for better energy distribution. You should also be able to suggest suitable vendors and manufacturers that sell the raw materials or machinery required for the implementation of proposed changes. A few of the duties are:

- Looking at individual's or company sources of energy.
- Creating models with different energy sources.
- Helping examining manufacturing processes.
- Monitoring energy consumption.
- Also work with government agencies to obtain certifications.
One of the most important skills that an energy consultant will have is their ability to identify areas where energy consumption can be lowered. Another skill is attention to detail as the energy consultant will need to be able to create a plan of action for the business.
