Job Overview
Are you an architectural professional who enjoys seeing your designs come to life? Our client—a privately held, design-focused residential builder headquartered in the North Atlanta area—is hiring a Design & Construction Manager to lead the development of architectural drawing sets for new vertical construction across their expanding portfolio.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll work side by side with company ownership, construction leads, and external consultants to deliver clean, code-compliant, and buildable designs that bring neighborhoods to life throughout Georgia.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation and oversight of construction documentation for vertical projects, including townhomes, apartments, and mixed-use developments
• Partner with ownership and civil teams to align vertical design with site constraints and planning requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams—construction, sales, legal, marketing, and warranty—to support project execution
• Manage redline updates, digital archives, and documentation for all past and current developments
• Liaise with external consultants (architectural, structural, MEP, specialty designers) to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Establish and maintain internal CAD standards and quality control procedures
• Act as a technical advisor and design troubleshooter for field construction teams

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in residential, multifamily, or light commercial architectural work
• Strong knowledge of Georgia residential building codes, ADA compliance, and UL-rated assemblies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction documentation processes
• Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills
• Self-motivated with strong ownership of deliverables and attention to detail
