Customer Service Officer

The Northern Land Council is seeking a full-time Customer Service Officer for its Jabiru NT office. The role involves being the first point of contact for visitors and providing administrative support to the Regional Development team. Do you have excellent Customer Service, administration and time management skills, then we have a great opportunity for you? NLC is looking for a dedicated Customer Service officer to join our Regional Development team in our Jabiru Office.

About The Role

You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Northern Land Council Jabiru office and be responsible for providing day to day administrative support to the team in order to effectively and efficiently service the needs of the branch and the NLC. You will work within a highly supportive and collaborative team that works and advocates for our Traditional Owners, Council Members and Constituents in the West Arnhem Region.

Your positive attitude and interpersonal skills will complement your ability to manage tasks and engage with various stakeholders across the organisation. Your commitment to excellence will be beneficial for your career at the NLC in the long term.

In addition to this, you will have: -
• Tertiary qualifications or experience in an administration/business-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in a front desk or office environment.
• Demonstrated excellent, attendance, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work with technology, including Microsoft 365, Outlook etc.
• C Class drivers’ licence.

We Offer
• A base salary of $62,060 per annum plus 5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
• District allowance of up to $9,750 per annum for individuals with dependents and $6,036 without dependents.
• 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
• Paid Christmas close down;
• Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
